Why am I billed during months when no work is being done?

Your GroundsCare plan spreads the total seasonal cost into equal monthly installments from January to December. While some months have fewer or no visits, others (like spring and fall) require more labor, double cutting, and detailed cleanups. Monthly billing simply averages those highs and lows so your payments are consistent and predictable.

Can I skip a visit and not be charged for it?

Because your plan is based on the full season’s care—not per visit—we don’t adjust billing for skipped visits. However, if your lawn doesn’t need attention, we’ll make the right call to preserve turf health. You’re never charged extra for adjustments, and our focus is always on the best care over the long term.

What if I want to cancel mid-season?

We understand things change. If you cancel your service partway through the year, we’ll calculate what’s been serviced versus what’s been paid and settle the account fairly. If you’ve prepaid more than what's been delivered, you’ll receive a refund. If more work has been done than paid for, we’ll invoice the difference.

Is this billing model really fair?

Autopay is required for all monthly installment plans to keep our billing consistent, efficient, and hassle-free. However, if you prefer not to keep a card on file, you can opt for seasonal prepayment by check instead. As a thank-you for paying in full upfront, we offer a 5% discount on your total GroundsCare plan. Just let us know you'd prefer this option, and we’ll get you set up.

What if I want to add services during the season?

You’re always welcome to add services to your plan at any time. When you do, we’ll provide updated pricing based on the remaining months in the year and adjust your installment amount accordingly. This keeps your billing smooth and predictable while making it easy to upgrade your care as your needs change. If it’s a one-time service, we’ll simply invoice it separately. Either way, we make it seamless.
