Frequently Asked Questions

We do things a bit differently than most lawn & landscape companies. We believe that the processes and systems we've developed truly create a much better customer experience. That being said, customers often have questions about our way of doing business. We've created this FAQ section to help people better understand us and our thought processes behind how we operate!

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes! We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, and cash.

Our convenient online customer portal makes paying with a credit/debit card easy! In fact, you can even set up automatic payments to take the hassle out of paying your invoices!

What is a maintenance plan?

What is a maintenance plan?

A maintenance plan is our way of creating convenience and transparency for our customers. We give our customers a list of our maintenenace services to choose from. We, then, take their choices and create a plan to keep their property maintained throughout the growing season. The total of the services is then equally divided and billed monthly throughout the year! We invoice from January through December as a way to keep payments low and consistent for our customers. Our customers know exactly what they owe each month with no surprises!

Can you mow my lawn shorter?

Can you mow my lawn shorter?

We don't mow lawns lower than 3.5 inches. Mowing lower puts our blades closer to the ground and increases the chances of causing damage or injury due to flying objects. Mowing lower can also damage or kill turf in periods of drought or in cases where lawns are not irrigated. Higher mowing heights stimulate deeper root growth and an overall healthier lawn. Longer blades of grass also shade the soil and prevent evaporation of moisture. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to give us a call.

Can I cancel at any time?

When is my next scheduled service?

Short Answer: yes! Feel free to read our cancellation policy below!

Cancellation Policy

We don't believe in cancellation fees/charges. You can cancel your services at any time, for any reason, by contacting our office to pay for any services already rendered plus any discounts or additional services provided. If upon cancellation TruScape owes a refund it will be issued via paper check/cc per the repayment terms below:

Upon cancellation you’ll only be charged for completed services up to that date (after the first monthly payment; first monthly payments are non-refundable). Total services and payments up to that date will be calculated to determine if either a refund or final balance is due. All refunds will be provided via paper check and per the repayment terms below. A 5% processing fee (from original amount) will be deducted from any refunds given. Most contract customers owe money upon early cancellation because the Interest Free Plan spreads out the payment over 12 months, but the services rendered total is generally more than the paid-to-date total when calculated. Final payment is due upon cancellation if the customer owes.

Repayment Terms (when TruScape owes the customer)

Under $2,500: amount due NET 90 days

Over $2,500: amount due NET 120 days
